Status Quo are a British rock band formed in London in 1962. Beginning with "Pictures of Matchstick Men" in 1968, they have had over 60 chart hits in the UK – more than any other band – with further hits including "Caroline", "Down Down", "Rain", "Rockin' All Over the World", "Whatever You Want" and "What You're Proposing".
